Every SOY Academy by Story of You tutor has been through the process your student is facing. Three hold degrees from Duke University and one from the University of Virginia; four are currently medical students at UVA School of Medicine. Their own results include SAT scores of 1530 and 1550, an ACT of 35, an MCAT of 521, and Phi Beta Kappa honours.
How we describe our mentors
Every mentor has a title and, where relevant, one or more badges. A title tells you what a mentor primarily teaches. Badges highlight an additional specialty a mentor has demonstrated through consistent, positive student feedback — not something we assign upfront. They only appear once a mentor has shown a track record in that area.
