Our Mission

Story of You (SOY) is an education-centered LLC rooted in the belief that every student deserves support that sees them as a whole person. We provide affordable, comprehensive services for K–12 and post-secondary learners, with a mission to nurture both personal and academic growth. Our goal is simple: to empower students with the skills, confidence, and guidance they need to thrive in school and in life.

We integrate essential life skills, such as emotional intelligence, social-emotional learning, and reflective practice, into everything we do. Whether through academic consulting, executive function coaching, test preparation, or application support, our programs are designed to build strong, adaptable learners equipped for long-term success.

Beyond individual coaching, we partner with schools and community organizations to expand educational opportunities. Our initiatives range from STEAM-SEL enrichment to math literacy programs and focus on strengthening character, curiosity, and resilience in students of all ages. These efforts are sustained through community partnerships, nonprofit collaborations, and the families who believe in our mission.

Guided by our broader vision of “Education as Healthcare”, we are also building The Healing Classroom: a growing blog and resource hub dedicated to exploring how education shapes well-being. Through research collaborations across schools, hospitals, and universities, we aim to ground our work in evidence and contribute to a broader movement that redefines education as a form of healthcare, highlighting the deep and interconnected relationship between learning and health.
