Our goal is to transform education into a fun and engaging experience that inspires young learners to become passionate about problem-solving and critical thinking. By making math exciting through games like Math 24, we want to help children develop into early thinkers who aren’t just solving equations but learning to embrace challenges with curiosity and creativity.

Join us for a day of creativity, community, and hands-on math!

Students will explore how math can be challenging, creative, and fun through our signature Math 24 game. Alongside the activities, we’ll be welcoming local vendors and small businesses who share our commitment to supporting social-emotional learning throughout Durham.

Highlights include:

  • Interactive Math 24 gameplay

  • Free gifts for all participating students

  • A special martial arts demonstration from Modu Martial Arts School

  • Food vendors and small business booths

What is Math 24?

Math 24 is a fast-paced math game that challenges students to think creatively, persist through tough problems, and find joy in numbers. For 37 years, it has been played nationwide, inspiring regional and state competitions and building a strong sense of community around the love of math.

Rules:

  • Use addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division to make 24

  • Use all the numbers only once
